Online banking is an alternative payment method that lets customers pay directly from their bank account.

Interaction flow:

  1. The customer is redirected from the payment page to the bank's website or mobile banking app.
  2. The customer signs in to their account and confirms the payment.
  3. Funds are transferred from the customer's bank account to you.

The key benefit is increased security: signing in to a bank account requires customer authentication, including multi-factor authentication when required by the bank.
